I specialize in leading young, nimble, fast-thinking creative teams, often comprising people from non-traditional advertising backgrounds. I have made big-budget cinematic commercials, but I find the more interesting creative opportunities usually lie with less high-profile work.

For most of my career I have been an early-adopter. I moved to digital when most creatives were still stuck in analog. When digital became universal, VICE China opened my eyes to long/short-form content and gave me far better understanding of how China’s audiences absorb and interact online.

My style of leadership is intentionally informal so people are allowed to be honest, silly, stupid, funny, and yes…creative.
